Expectations of the Trainee
The trainee will behave in ways that
do not disrupt class or interfere with others' ability to learn and the trainer's
ability to teach.
Examples of behaviors that are disruptive
to the class and will NOT be tolerated are:
- using offensive language
- rudeness
- personal attacks against other trainees or trainers
- using class time for activities other than learning
- excessive talking during lectures or exercises
- being argumentative
- excessive tardiness
Trainees who engage in any of these
or other behaviors judged by the trainer to be disruptive will be subject to
the following consequences:
- 1st Offense: Conference
with the trainer(s) and notation in trainee file
- 2nd Offense: State
Office and County Office notified; notation in trainee file
- 3rd Offense: Trainee
is expelled from the class; State Office and County Director notified
by phone. The trainee can not return to the class until the matter is
resolved to the trainers' and the employer's satisfaction.
In cases the trainer deems to be
emergencies, they have the authority to expel a trainee from class immediately
(go straight to consequences for 3rd offense.) Examples include physical threats
or violence.
