Driving Directions

From Atlanta I-75:

Take exit #290 and follow the signs to Hwy. 411. Follow Hwy 411 to Rome (about 18 miles) and turn right onto Hwy. 1 Loop. Follow Hwy. 1 Loop about 6/7 miles and after passing Rome Middle/High school on the left, go to the next traffic light and turn left onto Riverside Drive. Follow Riverside Drive about 1/2 mile. You will pass the Chieftain’s Museum on the right. The office is located a few hundred yards past the museum on the left in the second brick building with a green roof.

From North of Rome on Hwy. 27:

Follow Hwy. 27 to Rome and turn left onto Hwy. 1 Loop. Go about 1/2 mile to the first traffic light and turn right onto Riverside Drive. Follow Riverside Drive about 1/2 mile and the office is a few hundred yards past Chieftain’s Museum on the left in the second brick building with a green roof.

If coming South of Hwy. 27:

Follow Hwy. 27 into Rome. You will pass a K-Mart and a Home Depot on the right, at the second intersection past K-Mart you will cross Broad Street (there is a Checker’s on the corner on the right.) Go about 1/4 mile past that intersection and take the second road to the right (The road is across the street from the Village Theater.) After that turn, make an immediate left onto Reservoir Street and go a few hundred feet to the Stop sign, then turn onto Riverside Drive. Follow Riverside until you cross the RR tracks. The office is located in the second building on the right—brick building with a green roof.
