Inform TANF/FM applicants of other benefits to which they may be entitled. The chart below lists some of the most common benefits A/Rs receive.

Exceptions

Give special consideration to the following situations in which A/Rs may be excused from applying for or accepting other benefits:

FM applicants and recipients are not required to apply for TANF and SSI. Remember, MAGI Family Medicaid COAs do not require an application for non-taxable benefits; however, they should be informed of the potential benefits.
