Require if there is a protective payee because of mismanagement of the TANF check by the grantee-relative

Participate in substance abuse counseling/treatment

Require if there is an individual in the family who is known to be enrolled in a substance abuse counseling or treatment program
Require for any individual in the family who is in obvious need of this service
Provide information to the family on classes available in the community
Complete a referral to Mental Health/Mental Retardation/Substance Abuse programs in the community
NOTE: Require that the individual go to an assessment by completing a referral; do not try to diagnose or prescribe a course of treatment.

Require if there is an individual in the family who is known to be enrolled in a mental health counseling or treatment program

Comply with DFCS child welfare case plan
